My name is Kelli. I was born and raised in Michigan and have been rescuing animals since I was big enough to ride my Power Wheels to the neighbor's house and steal their skinny kitten. 

I discovered my love for unwanted and abandoned senior dogs in 2013 and have been working on creating a place of safety for them ever since. 

My solo mission turned into a team effort when I met my husband, Kenneth. 

A sign of the times, we met on a dating web site. My profile was titled, "Must Love Dogs is an Understatement."

"The Coykendalls" were established in 2019 and, with the support of the ultimate "dog dad", See Me Home established roots and we obtained our tax exempt, non-profit status in 2020. 

We are profoundly thankful for the love and support that surround us and are blessed, every day, with the opportunity to care for our furry crew.
